Hi folks,
looking for some advice. I have just bought an 2010 E250 CDI Convertible, and it's a non runner. Checked it out when purchasing and all the signs look to a faulty starter, so took the plunge.
However, since it's such a pain to replace the starter I thought I would methodically go through so fault finding before I get underneath the car. So I checked the fuse (OK), checked the relay, both using a battery and a multimeter (OK) ordered a new battery, just arrived (80 and 800) hoping it may be that, no change.
Having watched a MrMerc vid from a few years ago, I decided to do the following in the video below (Youtube) that I just uploaded.
Anyone got any ideas, or is it simply the starter?
Cheers, in advance for your help.
