2010 E350 CDI coupe - changes from comfort to sport mode automatically

Just purchased an E350 CDI Coupe Sport (C/W207 I think) when I start the car it starts in comfort mode, then after driving few minutes it automatically switches to sport mode, the sport light comes on and cannot be turned off back into comfort mode. Can't seem to find out why in the manual. Does it everytime I start and drive the car. Any ideas ?

ok cheers, so doesn't sound like it's just a setting then? I could find anything in the handbook. I'll get it scanned. thanks

No, its if stuck in sport mode its usually that sensor, but do check the wiring and associated connections. You will need a scanner that can talk to all systems, not just engine ECU

As above. Usually one of the plastic links on the front level sensor fallen off or cracked. Odd looking thing
