I've recently purchased a ML350 and within the last 100 miles or so the steering ets really heavy after about 10-15 mins of driving, I've read up about the steering problems and I've kind of decided that the rack has perished o-rings etc (oil bypasses when hot due to expansion). The problem I have now is determining which rack I have if its the servotronic or not. I found a post mentioning the epc vin number search and done that however the steering rack is not listed.
