2010 W212 E class e350 Parking brake

Hi all, I've looked at all the y tube videos re parking brake. They are helpful but mostly across the pond LHD. Anyway, parking brake ceased to operate with a definite loss of effort as pressing,( sudden give with clunk) pedal not returning fully so suspect cable break. Have done the inspection of the footbrake mechanism (back breaking at my age.) and recon its a cable issue and not the pedal. Has anyone got a diagram of the three cables and where they join? Is there a join hatch under the rear seat on my model? Bench seat has defied my efforts to remove so far. Many thanks

Hello , different car but similar (rubbish) set up , search my content and you will see numerous photos of the whole system as I have rebuilt the whole thing on my 2006 W203 C55.

Some MB cars have a trap door , some do not , either way it's a bit of a pain to work on . Good luck.
