2011 C220 Blue Efficiency Shudder

Hi,
I'm new to this forum, tbh I'm new to Mercedes. Just traded in my Passat last Nov and bought a 2011 C220 Blue Efficiency estate. 1st impressions were good but the car is developing faults, the most annoying is where the car shudders when taking off?

Has anybody had any experience of this before?

Any responses would be great.

I guess the first question would be is it a manual or auto? If an auto is it overdue a fluid change.
