2011 E350 CDI BlueEfficiency Fuel Cover

Hi All,

Had a look to see if this was an issue and couldn't find a post which answered it. I just purchased a 2011 E350 CDI and when i went to fuel up I noticed that I could open the fuel cover without pressing in to release it. Funny thing is it still stays locked when the car is locked, however when unlocked i can click to open it and close it, but i can also open it without clicking the flap in to release it. Is this normal or a fault with the mechanism in someway?
