2011 E350 trying to go into park while driving slowly. (see photo)

I used to use Active Parking Assist very occasionally on my facelift W212 and also still use it very occasionally on my W177 A-Class.

It's actually rather effective at getting into a spot that's very tight, but the downside is that I cringe at the dry steering it engages in to achieve that.
Mine was the passive 'DIY steering' version; I found I trusted my kerb view in the nearside door mirror more than I did the parking sensors.

My glc parks itself , I've not used it yet in nigh on 2 years , my e350 I owned for 3 years ,I used it once to see if it worked.

I used it once on a summers day to parallel park outside a pub. Just let go of the steering wheel and obey the instructions on the display.
Whem I finished I got a round of applause from the people drinking at the tables next to the pavement !
:D🪵🪵🚘

Mechanically superior....I guess so..but not as pretty!!

Mine was the 2 door coupe , your not even qualified to comment on looks. 😁
