2011 Vito earthing fault

Hi all!
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction...!?
My Vito has a rear earthing fault (as diagnostic machine listed).
The reverse lights flash on then stay off when fully in gear, bulbs around the van pop every now and then also.
Does anyone know where I should begin inspecting before I have to remove all the interior metal panels??

I would have thought start with the unit and work back. May well be no more than water ingress or corrosion on the holder.
