2012 C-Class Coupe Spy Shots
The first spy photos of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe have been captured in Europe. The car will replace the CLK in the Mercedes lineup beginning next year.
At last! A proper W204 Coupe!

So the c-coupe & e-coupe both share the same platform.. hmm..
This does look extremely bland though.. i like class and elegance, but this doesnt even have a spark for me
but good find!
um.. what do you do for a living? im sure ur a auto spy
good snaps.. now please find me a CLS interior
From the pictures I'm guessing that it's not a hatchback, which is disappointing as I was hoping it might replace my Sport Coupe. I suppose I'll have to look into whether the small rear window that was filled in on the CLC, can be fitted to one of the last CLCs.
It's funny, I too like the little rear window; that is the one thing I think is not so good on the CLC!
According to a recent report, Mercedes will offer an AMG version of the C-Class coupe.
Set to go on sale next year, the C63 AMG Coupe will feature a 6.3-liter (6208cc) V8 and a seven-speed MCT transmission. While the current unit produces 451 hp (336 kW / 457 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque, an Autocar source said Mercedes is "...looking to up the power beyond that of today's C63 AMG. It's safe to say it will be the most powerful of the three (when compared to the BMW M3 / Audi RS5)."
More importantly, the company will offer optional performance package which will enable the V8 to produce approximately 480 hp (358 kW / 487 PS).
If that doesn't float your boat, Mercedes is also developing a C63 AMG Coupe Black Series. Details are limited, but expect a release in 2012 or 2013.
