2012 CLS Shooting Brake Spotted
Separated at birth?
That's going to be a striking car.
can't wait to see it
hope it has the panoramic roof option.
A shooting Brake was always a coupe (2 door) converted to a three door.
This is a CLS Estate.
Jeez that's one ugly back end A car to make the Panamera look less hideous maybe...
Wonder if it will have 2 or 3 seats up back.
So, a car for those who love the CLS but need to carry stuff!
Like all recent MBs, will no doubt look a lot better in the metal! Could become another niche icon...
Looks a bit like someone's chopped an Audi Q7.
Quite like it though.
FUGLY pics but......
If undisguised it looks like this
I want one!
It looks like someone very large sat on a C-Class Estate. No sir, I dont like it.
Could be my dads next car, after 7 years in a S211 he's not over keen on the S212 but its ok...
This however he loves.
What's it likely to cost though? £60K?
THe S212 he specd up was close on £50K this will probably be another 10K like for like.
The S212 though he isn't excited about buying, and at £50k you should be, the CLS however he loves the look.
His last S211 he kept for 7 years so he would rather have something he loves than does the job..
I like this very much. A very good looking machine. I think two things are likely to influence UK demand: (1) Availability of three rear seats (2) AWD as an option.
With these additions, there's no excuse for buying an Audi S6 / RS6.
I reckon it'll still only have 2 seats in the back - otherwise it'd surely steal sales from the E-class wagon.
Needs roof rails to finish off the line. Somehow naked without them. See pic with E Class (?) in the background for comparison.
a bit like this but longer, not a good look?
CLS suddenly makes sense. ..
Think my dad will like that.
A replacement for his S211 as he has not been taken by the S212.
