2012 E63 Wagon
Decided to post my long term E63 estate up for sale. I've owned this car for over 5 years & it's been epic but I fancy a change..

2012 E63 5.5ltr Biturbo Estate in Cobalt White.
121,500 miles - will rise as it's my daily drive.

FSH - main dealer until 48,000 then independent (Star-Tech in Poole, then Project AMG recently)

Spec includes the usual stuff with the following extras (pan roof, adaptive headlights, parktronic, Harman Kardon sound system & gloss black trims)

Bought this car after viewing & testing several other cars - this was the nicest example I could find with the correct service history, no issues & no advisories on past MOTs.

Last year it had new OEM front & rear discs & pads along with a new battery & geo set-up at Mercedes Poole.
Serviced just before Christmas so needs nothing until the next service.
Last year I fitted a set of OEM forged alloys - original set rears were suffering from cracks.

MOT until October 22nd 2024 - rear discs & pads changed since the MOT & the other small advisories checked by Project AMG.

Interior is in A1 condition - bolsters all good - drivers side slightly "soft" but 99%.

Exterior is very good, not perfect but nothing nasty or scratchy - yes it's got the odd mark here & there but what do you expect after 120,000 + miles of daily driving.

Full book pack & boot pack (Mercedes flat pack tray, toolkit + gloves, compressor, AMG space saver etc + boot liner

Needs two rear tyres & a windscreen (OEM one is cracked) these will be sorted before any purchase.

Nearly forgot to add that back in July 2021 it was stage 1 mapped by MSL to a safe & proven 625bhp & 685lb ft torque & whilst there it had a rear resonator delete - needless to say it goes extremely well & sounds fantastic.

Not much else to add really other than it's been a 100% reliable family wagon & no doubt I'll regret selling it.

Any questions, further info, photos, test drives etc just drop me a PM

Price… £18K ono to a fellow forum member or friend for such a good car in fantastic condition.

Thanks for looking

Quick heads up, the car is still available & as mentioned I'm happy to consider offers.

New set of tyres fitted today - Yokohama Advan Sport V107 now on all corners.
285/30/19 98Y XL rears
255/35/19 96Y XL fronts

If you're looking for a well looked after, driven daily, 100% reliable W212 E63 pre-face lift, then drop me a PM before I end up trading it in & it goes to the auctions only to be abused for the rest of its life :oops:

OK, so I've decided to give selling the E63 another go, please see below the service/maintenance history for the car, it makes comprehensive reading as I've not skimped on servicing etc..

Before I owned the car:
15/04/2013 @ 10381 miles Service A (MB main dealer)
16/04/2014 @ 19,810 miles Service B (MB main dealer)

05/04/2016 @ 41,048 miles Service B (MB main dealer) - spark plugs replaced
06/02/2017 @ 49,197 miles Service A (MB main dealer)
Since I've owned the car:
15/10/2018 @ 54,112 miles Service B (Norman Motors, Poole) pre collection service when I purchased the car
17/09/2019 @ 63,363 miles Service A (local indi) - front & rear pads
19/06/2020 @ 72,283 miles Service B (Star Tech, Poole)
27/07/2020 @ 72,663 miles Software update to gearbox, engine & DAB (Star Tech, Poole)
22/10/2020 @ 77,339 miles Rear discs, pads & shoes (Star Tech, Poole)
19/11/2020 @ 78,299 miles Thermostat & housing & main coolant hose (Star Tech, Poole)
11/02/2021 @ 80,152 miles Drivers side level sensor (Star Tech, Poole)
17/06/2021 @ 82,823 miles Service A (Star Tech, Poole)
02/07/2021 @ 82,989 miles Both rear level sensors & intake hoses (Star Tech, Poole)
14/07/2021 @ 83,500 miles Stage 1 re-map & centre resonator delete (MSL)
29/07/2021 @ 83,722 miles Rear ride height pipes replaced (Star Tech, Poole)
02/09/2021 @ 85,196 miles Spark plugs replaced (local indi)
06/12/2021 @ 87,119 miles Transmission System Service (Project AMG)
04/05/2022 @ 90,074 miles Front Pads (local indi)
05/07/2022 @ 94/118 miles Service B (Project AMG)
22/07/2022 @ 95,322 miles Front drop links, torsion bar links & Air-Con service (Project AMG)
23/12/2022 - new battery (MB main dealer OEM)
01/03/2023 @ 106,176 miles Service A (Project AMG)
17/03/2023 @ 106,779 miles Front discs & pads (Project AMG)
01/11/2023 @ 118,026 miles Service B + rear discs & pads (Project AMG)
19/04/2024 @ 129,278 miles Service A + front pads & spark plugs replaced (Project AMG)

So it's fair to say it's been well maintained - I have paperwork & receipts for all work carried out on the car.
Current mileage is now 132,000 - it's just completed a 2,700 family trip to Croatia & back without an issue so it's 100% reliable.
MOT runs expires 22/10/2024 & previous advisories were checked by Project AMG & have been monitored since.

Will require a set of tyres before it's next MOT

Looking for £16,750 ono for the car.

Should you be looking to step into an E63, I would consider a deal with a well looked after W211 or W212

PM me or drop me a message on 07967 645585 for further details or some E63 chat.

Second time lucky eh...

Hi there,

Good to see new members lurking on the forum.!!
Yes, it's still for sale - only advertised on the forum as i'd like it to go to someone who will appreciate the car & the maintenance I've given it.
It's been 100% reliable in the 6 years i've owned it - the best car i've owned & my wife n daughters think i'm nuts to sell it but i do fancy a change.
The MOT is due in a couple of weeks, so that needs sorting (most likely rear tyres only to pass)
Typically, since re-posting the advert, it has recently developed a wheel bearing rumble - nothing nasty, just will need addressing before long - my trusted indi has quoted £508 fitted (including VAT) & the transmission fluid & filter needs changing - not been done since 87,000 miles & should be done every 40,000 miles making it overdue - my indi has quoted me £329.50 (including VAT)
Those are the only things that need doing & i was intending to do these once the MOT is sorted.

Let me know if you're interested, mine might not have all the options but it's less to go wrong & has been well looked after.

I can send you some pictures by WhatsApp if required.

Be interested to hear what 997 you have, mine is a completely standard 2004 C2 sports chrono & it's ace on my local Dorset B roads

All the best

Jon

The mighty E63 is booked into Project AMG on the 21st October for an MOT, wheel bearing & transmission fluid & filter change so it will be match fit again.
We're then away for a week together in Cornwall (along with the family) so if anyone fancies a viewing/test drive best make it early November.
Cheers
