Now have a S212 350 PETROL! . Did have 1992 W124 300E Ford Escort 1300E(now sold!)
I have had my E class for a few months but in the last couple of weeks the rear washer jet has stopped "spraying" and now takes a few seconds before you get a deluge of water all over the rear window. Has anyone any ideas what has happened and if I am going to have to replace the whole jet?? Thanks in advance.

Mines been doing that, it's due to frozen nozzle. My car was in the sun all day today and it worked fine when I got in after work. See if yours improves when the temp rises.

Thanks Abcan. It has been happening for a couple of weeks so pre frozen weather.

Sorry, I read it as last few days. Does the nozzle look ok? I can get a pic of mine up on here tomorrow if you want to compare?

It looks ok but as I didn't look before it started playing up I haven't got anything to be 100% so a pic would be great, many thanks again.

I'll get one up tomorrow. It does sound like there could be crap in the pipe that's blocking it.

Here's the pic. Not sure how much help it'll be.

Seems the same as mine so I might get an air line and see if it is blocked with cr4p! Thanks for all your efforts, appreciated.

No problem. Let me know if you solve it. Always worth knowing what the problem was for future reference.

Managed to have a look with someone operating the rear washer while I had a look and most of the water is leaking out into the void of the rear spoiler/brake light and leaking down the window. I suspect maybe the pipe is loose so I will have to figure out how to strip it down to get to it or leave it till it's service in Jan!
