Hi everyone I have recently upgraded my rim sim seize form 18" to 19". I have 245/35/19 on the front and 275/35/19 on the rear but the car looks like a drag racer. High on the rear and low on front. Have I got the right tyre size on the front?

The answer should be within your Handbook.Hi everyone I have recently upgraded my rim sim seize form 18" to 19". I have 245/35/19 on the front and 275/35/19 on the rear but the car looks like a drag racer. High on the rear and low on front. Have I got the right tyre size on the front?

- 205 is the width of your tyre, this is measured in millimeters (205mm)
- 55 is the tyre’s profile or height, measured as a percentage of the overall tyre width
The front are correct, it is the rear that need changing.I'm just wondering what was the original Mercedes recommended tyre size for 19" alloys for this car. Should I lift the tyre profile on the front or lower the rear
245x35%=85.75The front are correct, it is the rear that need changing.
Your handbook will list the range of tyre sizes that Mercedes specified with the vehicle.
Oh? Do enlighten us please. What do all those nice numbers mean in your opinion? You can't apply maths to tyres pal .
Huge missinformation .
So given that tyres are not produced to exact dimensions, how would you advise the OP? Indeed, how would you advise anyone on their tyre sizes?View attachment 126745
