2012 Vito interior lights

Hi, my 2012 Vito has 3 interior lights, front, middle and rear. The front light didn’t work when I bought it but when I disconnected the rear lights to do some work on the head lining, the front light came back to life!!
Fast forward, headlining refitted, rear lights connected again and the rear lights work as they should on opening rear door, turn off with timed delay but the front light has stopped working again???
Any ideas? Thanks

Poor connection at the front light would be my guess.
Wiring in, or lamp to brass connector.

What bulbs have you in your lights?? Might be a canbus issue? Try taking the front bulb out to see if the rears come back on..

Canbus doesn't kill these lights. There is a fault logged in the SAM but no inhibit.

I only run LED's.

When testing don't be surprised if the -ve is switched by the SAM.

The rears are on, it is the front that isn’t working.
Std bulbs.
Will get multimeter out!!
