Hi.. so my 2012 c250 receives Bluetooth from my phone (s10) as it casts the satnav and phone to the screen on android auto... but no sound??? Also no calls come through??

Tia for help

The W212 only got native support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto from mid-2015, when the infotainment system was upgraded from NTG4.5 to NTG5*1.

If your 2012 car has Android Auto, it must be equipped with a third-party external adapter. How long have you had the car? This may have been fitted by a previous owner.

Ah thanks! Yes you are right... That explains the limcet box I find on my phones Bluetooth and the USB cable comming from behind the centre consol... there is also a lead comming from glove box with a weird connector on the side of the glove box that has a mimi jack on the other end

I'm assuming If I plug a Bluetooth reciever in to the afore mentioned jack I will be able to get the audio thru the cars aux?

Limcet is indeed an aftermarket CarPlay/Android Auto box. It will most likely play through the Aux input, so you'll need to make sure that the audio is set to Aux when using Android Auto.

I believe that bluetooth is used initially to make the connection, but thereafter the Limcet box uses wifi for the audio. I assumed it also used wifi for the on screen display. What sort of setup did you go through to get the screen working?
