A quick Google search shows that FL version BLD-NR-172 3.13 is NTG 4.5 Gen 1. As said, it can be ungraded to Gen2.

Also, I am assuming that your Gen1 has the 'papirus' (brown/yellow) colour scheme? If so, then the upgrade to Gen2 will also allow you to change that to the later Gen2/Gen3 grey/red colour scheme.

Cool, I'll ask about the hotspur connection as well, see if that is a cure as well.
