Does anyone know if these can be replaced?

I've scoured the internet and was unable to find any for sale...I did how ever get in touch with a sheet metal fabricator who has quoted me £25 to make 4 new caliper covers

I've one missing from my E350, 2011 plate.
TRW (who make them) deny all knowledge that they make them, and Mercedes only sell the whole caliper (£280). Pretty poor from an environmental sustainability standpoint.

As you've deduced by now I'm sure, they are either available from second hand calipers (and might break on removal), or need to be made as you have had done.

Good job getting those sorted btw!

i totally agree with you, anything that can be removed should be available to buy. On the upside though it cost £15 to have these made and are a perfect fit, so where there's a will there's a way,

Can I ask how you have secured these into the calipers please?

I believe the original plates have a 'one way' barbed push fit circular collar slide over the stub one the plate that creates an interference fit once installed (pushed) into the corresponding holes in the caliper, and possibly hence the 'they are not replaceable' stance Mercedes take.

i used some high temp steel putty, at first i thought permanently fixing them to the caliper would get in the way of future pad changes but i can easily remove the retaining clip so shouldn't be a problem
