the Edition 1 looks good to me - I didn't like the red bits on the saloon but none on the Coupe. One thing I can't work out is it says the Edition 1 has 19/20" wheels (written like that) but I can't tell if that means front of 19s and rears in 20 because the spec list doesn't show different pricing for 19 or 20" options.

I love the motor sport edition with the yellow bits. I've emailed my dealer to get the cost to upgrade but he tells me he doesn't have pricing yet, which is strange as everything is online. I fear the cost will be too high to change from my saloon.

Pricing is definitely out - my dealer shared it with me and they are readily available on the Internet, for example:

Thanks yes, I am a bit confused as to what he's waiting for. I need to understand the PCP deals though and the cost to swap. I might give my dealer a nudge again.

I think the Coupe will look fantastic - take the best bits of the saloon in a sportier body, it's going to be awesome. Cost to change, getting out of any new car, you will take a hit, just depends how much is palatable and then the key is going to be if you can get any money off the coupe, as the edition 1 without any money off is expensive. I'm not sure if they will offer money off yet as production doesn't start to March next year but I have an enquiry in with my dealer, so I will let you know if the cost to change is of biblical proportions or not

I agree, need to understand that number to see if I can take the hit. I managed to get 7% off the saloon before in the same situation so let's see. One disappointment is the UK E1 comes standard with the pano roof, which is fine, but it means that yellow stripe isn't going to go across the roof - that might look odd. :/

Cheers JBD -what I need to understand is what it's going to cost me to give back my C63 S saloon and get into a coupe... I suppose my dealer isn't going to give me this until production has started and timelines are shorter for when the saloon would be handed back.

It's only March, I've sold cars for then already. There's no reason for them not to price it now, other than them not being bothered
I only went with MB Birmingham as they sold me the 507 and did the first service so had all the details.
Wife says it is fate that dealer has not offered anything as she does not want new coupe and has eyes elsewhere now.
I cannot be bothered to chase the rep: as left 2 messages and sent email requesting a swap figure and he knows we are good to go, obviously making too much money so does not need commission?

The 507 has held its money well and yours is very low mileage (obviously not used it enough!).
A well priced 507 will sell in a week (based on my experience).

I had all the prices and options so built the coupe but is all down to any discount and how much 507 will be offered at.
I want an Edition 1 as been with AMG for years but wife fancies a change, hope she means car not me?
I thought 507 was a keeper but have got bored, I only use this in fair weather for leisure as am precious about it and thought it would be my retirement present but that has been delayed so time to move on if figures work out.
