Hi folks

Interested in experiences - how many miles are you getting from tank of AdBlue?

Are you buying off MB dealer or using stuff from regular filling station?

I get at least 14,000 miles from a full tank, and buy Ad Blue at Costco, Tesco or anywhere else, usually only once a year anyway.

I can see this being another warranty minefield when something strange happens to your diesel Merc. 'Sorry boss, you did not use MB approved AdBlue , your emission system is toast, not our problem'...Maybe I am being a bit too cynical. Sorry.

According to the gauge on my car it should do around 16000 miles to a tank.

So that is more than enough to see it through to the yearly service, and since I have a service plan it will get refilled F.O.C at each service.

In general Adblu is Adblu.

Truck and coach operators buy it in bulk from the cheapest source as and when they need, never had any issues with warranty work on new vehicles even when the Adblu system plays up.

Most issues are caused by a sensor or the ecu having a hissy fit.
