2017 Class Estate Luggage Cover

Hey everyone, I hope you are all well.

I have a 2017 C Class Executive Estate. The car has the automatic tailgate and the boot cover is also automatic. A few weeks ago I must of opened the cover wrongly and the cover came away at both ends, and the worn spiral came out at both sides, these were attached to the luggage cover and I can see that these would gave opened and closed the cover. My question is, ad they have now come out are they repairable, I can still hear the motors turn inside the back wings.

I think it'll be new motor/spirals both sides - as far as I know they are complete units per side. There's also been an update to the parts since 2017, which may address why your's have failed.
