2018 C class centre console repair

When I'm driving I always rest my left elbow on the centre console, however the (leatherette?) trim is starting to show signs of wear and tear. Before it gets out of hand and starts to come apart, I was wondering if anyone here has had this happen and managed to repair or replace it?

I imagine that MB will happily sell you the entire console!
