First post on MB Club! I'm hoping someone can help me before calling the local MB garage.
I'm having trouble with the fuel gauge/level on my 2018 GLC 43 (X253).
I had a 300-mile trip on Friday, and fuel went down to one notch on the digital gauge (around 25 miles left on the range). I then brimmed the tank with around 60 litres of 99 octane, but the digital gauge shows half a tank and around 150 miles range.
Assuming this has to do with the fuel level sensor in the tank. Could this be due to overfilling? In that case, should I wait to see if the issue resolves itself? Any other advice?
In the meantime, I've reset the trip counter to monitor my miles and avoid being caught by a potentially faulty sensor.
Cheers!
