Hi, can someone please tell me what size width my standard sport alloys are?

I'm guessing 6 or 6.5J ?

I am looking at (as well as philsy2k's AMG's) some 17" alloys for sale.

They are 7Jx17H2 ET50.

1. Is the offset OK?

2. What size rubber would I fit for the correct rolling radius?

If those are the ones I think they are, they won't fit mate.
I asked K last night. Shame as they look good.

ET 50 wont fit, you'll look like the old Anglia in the hamlet advert!!! from memory ,mine are around 34 and 37 ET and the standard sport alloys are 6.5J x 16...

Thanks guys, looks like my decision is made then.

I've been buying single wheels for peanuts on ebay.
Got 3 18" genuine AMG alloys like Koolvins so far for under £100.:D
They are ET 30 & 33.
Just need to find the 4th now:crazy:

Wheelie is right - an offset of about ET37 sounds about right for a 7.5J wheel.
You will be looking to run 225/45/17 tyres to stay at the correct rolling diameter and not ruin the handling/geometry and speedo reading.
I run 225/45/17 Goodyear Eagle F1 with 7.5Jx17" AMG Monoblock type II for the front and 245/40/17 Goodyear Eagle F1 with 8.5Jx17" AMG Monoblock type II on the rear. These give the same tyre diameter overall, and fit the rims correctly.
Good luck in the wheel hunt!
Cheers,
Will

Anyone know what the offset is of the standard w202 6.5J 16" sport alloys?

Also, what offset would 16" w210 steel rims be?

I always thought the standard size of the sport alloys were a 15" or did they make them bigger for the facelift models????????

Yeah, pre-facelift sports had 15" AMG's. Post had 16" Mercedes alloys.

Right...

W202 sport rims are 7Jx16" ET37 on the front and 8Jx16" ET35 on the rear...

The most popular 210 steel rim is 6.5Jx15" ET37.

I dont know exactly what size the 16" steel rim is.

7jx17" ET50 would only fit a a-class...
