202 - What grille do I have?

What grille do I have on my 1999 C43? Is it original or aftermarket?

Having just had a closer look it was made in Feb 99 according to the markings on the back, has the Mercedes star moulded into the plastic and 202 888 03 23 moulded into it.

Closer looking it appears that the one of the air intakes is blanked off (drivers side) - so I may have to get out my dremel and it cut away.

Presume the top left (facing the front of the car) panels are blanked to guard the intake which sits behind there.

The intake on the other side (C43's have twin intakes) is not blanked off - any other C43 owners confirm this to be standard?

it looks stock to me. aftermarket ones are usually avantgarde style where all the vanes have a chrome strip on.

This is the grill you really need. Anyone who has it will speak highly of it and this is the cheapest and best quality grill out there plus the seller is highly reliable. Deffinatly worth a thought

He sent his photo of his which was the one pictured in the Ebay link (but comes with the chrome outer frame). He also sent me a picture of a standard one which was similar to mine but had more horizontal fins.

I sent a picture of mine which he claims was non-standard, which confused me, so I asked here.

I'll probably get one off ebay

Its the same grill really Shala but except the one from Germany with powerstyling is cheaper thats all.

The powerstyling (Matrix car) is the only one you need + its the cheapest aswell. Here is my fitted:
