209 no air going to windscreen

Good afternoon.

Can someone clarify if the stepper motor under the dash (clicking) is the reason for no air going onto windscreen.

If that is not the problem does anyone have a mb link to the vent solution.

As you have a clicking stepper motor I'd hazard a guess that's your problem.
Best bet is to get the codes read and at the same time get the air distribution flaps reset, all on STAR and see if things improve.
STAR will pinpoint the failing stepper and you can take it from there.

For some reason it won't let me upload pics, says they are too large.
Update. 2004 model, after taking the console out and the driver's side lower dash off there is no access to clicking stepper motor. Going to take the passenger side lower dash off next.
