20X10 et35 Help needed !

First post, so please go easy on me.:bannana: I own a CL500 (w215) on a my2000. I am about to buy a set of alloys for my car but am not entirely sure if they would fit. The rims are 20"x10" et35 (all 4 wheels). Could anyone here please advise me, in whether they would fit and whats the most suitable tyre size ?? I have tried searching the forums, looked at fitting guides etc, and nobody has a definative answer. I know some people run BIG wheels on their cars but they dont say how. Could anyone here please help me ? Thanks. Great board BTW.

This is a good source of information.

On first glance the largest 20" wheels that have been fitted are 9.5 wide and then with a host of mods to the bodywork.
I have 10.5x21/ET35 on the back of my W221 without modification, but I have no first hand experience of your car.

Thanks, I ended up buying an OEM set of alloys (18" staggered fitment) which fit perfectly.
