210 Mirror glass £180??? Alternatives

Hi

Drivers side mirror glass is very slightly cracked and going discoloured, checked with MB and they want £150 + vat just for the mirror glass. Does the normal non dipping glass fit straight on or anyone know where i could get a glass cheaper.

They tried this on me once - alleging that the glass does not come separate from the electronic sensors and stuff behind - Have to say I ended up buying a stick on glass from Halfords and sold car soon after (back to the dealer who didn't notice!)

it may be auto dimming glass in which case the price is correct!

Mirror replacement

There is a choice of two replacement mirror only part numbers, flat A2028101021 and with the 'wide angle' tipped one A2028100421. Both listed at 49.76 euros
