210 service indicator: fixed or variable?

Does anybody know if the service interval on the 210 is fixed mileage or variable mileage?

Thanks - whenever i do a reset and note down the "mileage to service", i always seem to lose the note before the next reset.

Mine has just accelerated from '2000+ miles' to '600 miles' overnight - very strange

After reset, it said "Service A due in 10000 miles". The ODO was on 136356. I promise to keep an eye on it this time.

Mine was 6500 miles around 3 weeks ago and is now around 7500
