So I've just recently put pirelli p zeros all round on my staggered 19's I have 245 35 19 up front and 275 35 19 on rear offset is 25 front and 30 rear me personally I want a 275 30 on rear it will put car level and it's to much tyre height on rear is anyone using either size aswell as your thoughts on it or post pics. Thanks

You will be moving marginally slower comared to a bigger wheel. Is your rear rim wide enough for 285/30?

Do you mean slower on the speedo? And it's only a 9.5j rear so I doubt it the p zeros have a rim protector aswell so they look flush not stretched at all so I couldn't see it fitting a 285

Faster on the speedo than in reality with a smaller wheel. 9.5J takes 285 just fine. Factory size on CLK63 BS and later AMGs. With wider tyre you won't have the stretched effect. I think 275/30 will look wrong so if you're dead set on 30 profile, I'd try to go wider.

The difference in rolling radius between front and rear may well prevent the cruise control from working and could throw up other faults.

Ok thanks alx I'd go 285 30 then if that works fine thank you and GordonTarling now you say that my cruise control don't work and my traction control/stability ect is off aswell but I'm sure that was before I put the 275 35's on I'll have to keep an eye on that

One other thing, it will increase the understeer by a small margin, as the road contact at rear it wants to push the car in a straight line in the corners & the larger the footprint will help this.

It's no track car so I wouldn't be worried about thatI haven't noticed any problems having wider rear tyres main concern was the tyre height so was wondering what other people are running on the rear as I think the tyre wall is way to high for my liking

Can I see a picture major774 I'm running 275 35 19 and hate the big profile and and lifts the car to high

Yeah looks the same as the front looks alot better than mine with the 35"s definitely have to order them now car sits level aswell looks good mate.

245 35 19 and 285 30 19 is the best ratio for equal sidr wall.

That's put me in a dilemma then I like the wider wheel but it may rub with the 285, actually I'm more than certain it will so either risk it or go to a 265 30 19 if that's correct for equal side wall?.
