250td estate

Hello,
I have not owned a Merc before and wanting a diesel estate, I am currently looking at a manual 5 speed 1990 250td estate, asking £ 2250 . Wondered if anyone would be kind enough as to give me any advise , pros and cons , what to look out for with one of these etc. Any good/bad experiences? Any info appreciated,

Hi Trev,

I have one, a 92. First question I must ask is how good are you at hanging upside down like a bat? You may need to do this, I did lol.
Get someone to check the rear suspension for you in addition to all the usual stuff.

just changed the steering box on my 200T, Hanging like a bat lol. I now see in the dark and can avoid stationary objects without looking. My hearing has improved as well.
