Hi.

Just scanned my W203 C220 CDI 2006 with Icarsoft 980 and this fault came up... Never seen it before as I scanned for errors many times.
2632-8 charge pressure too high , I cleared it and it doesn't come back so far.

Anyone know what could be the problem?

Cheers

By looks of things the turbo has to come off to access the actuator.
Looks like a job.
However I did spray some WD40 on the actuator arm , might no help but it wont harm

Usually caused by a sticking turbo actuator

If it was one time only, no worry, of course if it appears frequently it must be repaired. Its rarely outer arms problem, nowadays its servomotor failure or soldering problem of the actuator.

Edit: just diagnosed turbo actuator failure (it will have code of its own too) of one W211, actuator changed in local turbo garage 300€. Actuators sold in ebay too but must be 100% right type

Usually actuators should be very carefully calibrated to the turbo, so if I needed a new actuator, I'd go Recon turbo from one of the best specialists

Ecu testing do repair them actuators but I heard somewhere that the repaired units didn't last long.

Turbo has to come off to get to the actuator , doesn't it?

I have not heard any issues from those who have managed to get replacement actuator initially functional. Problems doubles if turbo is opened, sync between vane and actuator will be lost. Usually actuator can be chaged without dismantling turbo (like said must be exactly teh same part). I have no experience about OM651 turbos, I use 6 cylinders only :)

Mine is om646 engine...
