280 or 350 CLK Convertible

I am looking to buy a 209 CLK convertible and want to stick to a V6 would I notice much difference between the 280 and the 350 ?

I’d go 350, but then I am biased as I have a 2008 350. Price wise they are similar and the mpg is similar. What’s not to like about more bhp? That said, if you can find a rare as hens teeth 500 V8, mpg is similar again and yet more power and noise.

No, less trouble if anything. Have to watch balance shaft on V6 although that is easily avoided by finding a later car built 2008 onwards and checking the engine number online. Don’t think the 500 has any particular issues.
