A good friend of mine is offering for sale the above car.
It is correctly-described as being in very poor condition.
The attached photos say it all.
VIN is 10704222010484.
It's a 280SL auto in silver with both hard and soft tops.
First registered May 1981 on a W plate.
I have known this car for about 12 years.
It has been sat outside for a number of years ... awaiting renovation that never happened.
It did run OK.
However, the weather and neglect has taken a heavy toll and it is offered as a project rather than as a runner.
The water has got into it and there is mould and vegetation growing inside.

I have told my friend not to expect big offers.
Any reasonable offer will be welcome for the whole of the car.
Removal from its present home in a works yard in Penistone, South Yorkshire, is the responsibility of the buyer.
