Hi. Just cleaned the car and have noticed that one of the joining clips for the chrome trim around the rear screen has disappeared! The car hasn't been moved and have searched the drive without success so it's a bit of a mystery.
Don't suppose anybody's breaking a coupe and has one of these? I think there are three on the back window, one in the middle at the top and one in each corner near the bootlid. Would Mercedes still sell them?
    Thanks in advance Ade

They simply tend to rust away [the bit that's hidden] and fall off. The coupe parts may be different to the saloon. You can probably still get them to special order from MB Germany via your dealer -- at a price!

Oh ok. It always used to slide quite easily whereas the others have always stayed in place. Been like it since I had the rear screen replaced three years ago. Perhaps the fitter was dodgy.
