Hmmmm....this appears to happen alot.
Someone will advertise a '124 series, either mentioning a "body kit" or not mentioning one at all, where the pictures clearly show one.
In a few recent examples of this, I've noticed the kits are Carat Duchatelet (as in this case).
Surely a decent bodykit would be a selling point for any example, let alone a rare Carat Duchatelet kit.
So why don't people mention them?

Also, this example appears to have a Sportline steering wheel and the wider alloy wheels - leading one to guesstimate it has Sportline suspension, too. Yet that isn't mentioned either? A bit strange!

It's still an amazing bargin!

Here are 3 other such examples (all Carat kits, but no mention of a manufacturer!)

Not everybody's an anorak expert - it's entirely possible these sellers genuinely don't know anything about the body kit, or the suspension, or any of the other little features that we look for. It's just a car...

But isnt this a good thing, if the seller does not know there own car and the buyer does, as the saying goes 'Seller Beware'

I do like the metallic red coloured W124 saloon

I think that most buyers are not bothered about the body kits - I certainly wasn't. The examples shown are fairly subtle and I am not sure the clip on rear spoiler suits the car. Sure enthusiasts look for these things, but most people I know would be put off by a car that looked non standard.

The £750 300E 24 does look like excellent value mind although it doesn't mention the condition of the AC it looks like it has a 5 speed box
