320CDI service interval

I keep getting the local dealer pester me saying my 320CDI is due a service. ( 2005 straight 6 engine)

it actually has 1500 miles to go on the assyst.

However i am sure that it has just counted down from 10,000 miles! Is this usual?

I thought the service interval was more than 10K and I did notice it said 10k to go as i drove it out of the garage last year.

The dealer will be basing his estimate on months, not mileage, since you bought it. Two years and it should be done regardless of mileage.

Mine is slightly difference because I had mine done at the end of October 2008 and have only done 10,000 miles since.

I thought it is not due for a service yet.
