All, simple question, I’m just overhauling brakes at the back, discs/pads/ flex and pipework...... brake wear indicator plug is fitted to the driver side but there is nowhere to plug the near side indicator ?
Is this correct ?
And there is no “hole” in the discs to adjust the handbrake mechanism..... or do you really use the wheel stud hole !

That is correct I guess the thinking is that its not crucial on the rearbrakes/ that they wear at roughly the same rate barring faults-- so one wear indicator is enough? handbrake adjustment is indeed thro the wheel stud hole

Thanks, that’s reassuring, in a way, but given how Mercedes over engineer everything, very strange. Thanks
