3222 CDI- How much bhp is possible?

I am led to believe from a trusted friend that my E320 CDi with the 3222 engine is capable of being uprated to 300+bhp. Does anyone know if this is true and how much it would cost to do?

Safely you can go to 278 bhp and from 540Nm - 680Nm of torque. You can go past that but you will start to suffer reliability and driveability issues, by running higher fuel and boost pressures.

Thanks for that, I've just been having a look. Seems it isn't as straight forward as I had been led to believe...
