340mm Steering wheel

i would have thought the sportline wheel but i'm sure 340mm is a bit too small?

i am pretty sure the smallest for a 124 were 390mm. The sportline were 390mm. Standard were 400mm.

390 seems to be the average, based on ebay sales where they actually state the diameter. Thanks for taking the time to reply

It`s not average,it`s the smellest one fitted from factory

I believe that will fit. Does anyone know what diameter the C36 wheel is?

I very much doubt it`ll be smaller then 390mm which is the same as the sportline one

I fitted a wheel from a 170 SLK to my 190 years ago. It was marginally the smallest wheel mercedes made at the time. I think even the horrid a class wheels were the same size. It had a nice chunky feel and shape to it as well.

the designo version is 380 (15") and of course sculpted shape.

There was a guy on here that modified an E55 wheel to fit his 500E, but he doesn't state what year. He mentions that it is smaller than the stock wheel, but again no idea just how much since I don't know the size of the 500E wheel.

Other than that I am considering a Raid wheel. Price is not that much more than a good condition E55 with airbag.

I know they`re rare but see if you do go for Raid, try getting the one with burl wood part

That would be nice :), the one I was looking at (dam hard to get much info online. English page doesnt work) is basic leather 340mm wheel at about £310 plus the adapter.

That aside I measured my 230CE wheel (aftrmarket non airbag) which is 360mm. That would be an acceptable size if there is stock MB wheel that fits

Keep an eye on ebay.de,they do come up now and then

This is the one I mean

Well I found one for under £100. it's not the burl wood, but since it needs freshening up I might send it away for retrim and have the colour changed and burl fitted.

Now I just need to find the correct adapter. I'm thinking any of the W20x or W21x should work.
