Mmmmm, wonder if smartsRus are working on the 100bhp+ chipped version as we speak??
According to the Smart website, there is a full electric version on the way too!
This model will make or break Smart, as it is aimed at the USA. I for one hope it is succesful! Have a narna MB:bannana:

Heres the blurb from the site. Evidently sales of electric vehicles took off in a big way in Scandinavia when they were allowed to use the bus/taxi lanes.
Still no sign of a hybrid in europe that has a rechargeable "plug in " facility.
