3rd Brake Light

Hi all

So the third brake light has decided it’s had enough of working for a living on my ML
Is this an easy fix / Halfords replace or is it a bit more involved
I’ve had a quick look at the light and no apparent fixing screws???

I'm not familiar with yours,
but would expect it to be a specific LED unit held on by 3 torx screws.

Have you tried to source one via eBay?

It’s a bit intermittent, sometimes it works but more often it doesn’t
I was thinking it maybe a wiring issue

Hi mate

To be honest I haven’t bothered with it as it’s not actually an mot fail
I think it must be a break in the wire probably where it comes out of the body into the boot lid
