3rd Condensor

I'm having the 3rd condensor installed into my car tomorrow, the 1st one was leaking (only found out on installation), 2nd lasted 11 months and is now leaking, should i go for the ecp condensor for the 3rd time or go elsewhere.

Anyone else have this problem. So far I have had to bear the cost of installtion everytime.. one thinks this is not fair

Any thoughts on this?

They have a years warranty from ECP so there should be no charge for fitting. There is varying ECP quality on condensors. Use a EIS one and it will be fine.

Looks like EIS is just a ECP own brand:

A genuine part might be money better spent given his last three ECP rads have been duds?

They are the bext condensors other than Valeo they do.

They do use some real chepo makes that are awful.

On my 500E, My ECP one lasted 4 years... I cant recall which brand but it was circa £300.
I did my annual A/C service to find drips from the bottom of the condensor, its gone again.

Mercedes are £225 + VAT but back order, no stock anywhere. Euro only have EIS in stock which are £239 + VAT.
Andrew Page say they can get me a Hella one (i.e. same as original) for £210 + VAT... so ive ordered that one.
I dont fancy doing the again..
