I went up to Sheffield yesterday to watch the ABA senior finals. Trip up there was busy-left at 4:00pm!
On the way up I enjoyed the cruise control, and the S just racked up the miles.
Boxing finished at midnight so as you can imagine the M1 was empty so I decided to let the "horses loose" (legally of course) and I was blown away!
After 6 months of pottering around London in it, it was only when I was blasting down the M1 in total darkness that I got that "mouth wide" smile. The speed I was doing felt like I was doing half it. All I will say is my journey time was cut down substantially.
And the best thing? It only used just over half a tank!
One bad thing did happen though. The black plastic under the engine, which attaches to the front bumper seems to have been eaten away! Its dangling at the front now.
