450SEL estate!

Very interesting car - looks like a coachbuilt special rather than a MB product?

Clearly been done to a very high standard, as evidenced by the 'estate' boot badge, though the lines of the estate conversion just don't quite flow with the rest of the car IMO

Looks nice, wouldn't mind having something like that, unique...

Will be interesting to see what it fetches.

Is it a Crayford? Would like that in my stable, but those U.S federal bumbers would have to go, just how ugly do they make it?

Without the US bumpers I reckon that would very cool to have. Like the Porsche 928 Estate they've got in Zuffenhausen. I've seen a DB5 estate and a Ferrari 456 Estate before.

i like that - would make a great towcar :bannana:

Beleive it is a Crayford.

However, in a strange way I kind of like the retro US bumpers. They don't work on something like a 911 but on this and something like the Volvo's of that age it sort of works.

I'll get my coat...

Ad copy says Crayford, yes.

Built for dealer principal at "Harpers" which appears to have been the US agent for Crayford conversions.

I'd still prefer a 60TE though...

Its Huge...and must be fab for towing

At 7am today , i was going to post i that i didn't like it .

The more i look at it though , the more i would love to smoke around in the summer in it ! :bannana:
