Guys,

I plan to get my clipers refurbished soon and expect that the brake pipes will shear off when I remove them.

So I plan to buy a brake pipe kit from ebay so that I can make up some new pipes but am not sure which kit to buy. Can someone let me know what the nut type and pipe sizes are.

Ask merc dealer for the new pipe first - may be pleasantly surprised.

I used 3/8" copperpipe on mine and the unions are metric

Do you mean 3/16" pipe ?
Use 90/10 copper-nickel pipe.
It's far superior to copper.

My old company used to manufacture copper and copper-nickel pipe.
We specifically did NOT recommend copper for vehicle brake pipe use.
