Thinking of this , two years hence will see the 50th anniversary of the S Class .

Perhaps in September 2022 , assuming COVID is behind us by then , we as a club could think about having an S-Class day , with all generations being welcome , and an area for ‘other models’ so no one needs feel unwelcome .

What does everyone think ?

What about a venue ? Somewhere geographically central ? Ideally that won’t involve booking or cost ?

Where does a S...L fit in?:p

We would need to have a special area for them , but the SL series will have their 70th anniversary in 2024 ( the Gullwing being introduced in 1954 IIRC ) or in 2029 if you feel the 75th anniversary would be better to celebrate? But why not both ?

Sorry, no offence meant. That rather begs the question, though, of how you can look like a remark. :dk:

And as a celebration all the MB owners who attend the event, will be offered the chance to purchase a brand new S Class at half price :p

I can dream :D

Whichever MB (or any other marque) you drive, just go anyway, anytime - it's a brilliant place to visit!
