500 e

Looks nice has birds eye maple wood and a Brabus steering wheel too by the looks of it.

It was with Charles Ironside a couple of years ago when it didn't have colour coded bumpers.
The car was also featured in Mercedes Enthusiast, and they mentioned it had uprated brakes (AP Racing items, IIRC). That could mean it's been on the track.
Also mileage was quite high when featured in ME, but I can't remember what the figure was, I'm afraid.
I do remember last time it was with C.I. he didn't list the mileage either.

It's now been sold, and the mileage was around 279 he said... although that could have been kilometers lol, never thought to ask!

Agree, the one Jay has is in a different league....this is an average 500E.....doesn't have the history, looks, interior or stance of Jay's superb 500E.

I'll always miss that car that Jay has....nothing will replace it for me.

cheers

Not even the Gembella?

Each car has it's own place in the heart....there were too many good memories with that 500e ! And it was my first ever 500e ! I shall never forget the drive home after purchase....sensational, I can recall almost every road and turn....and it was during the drive home it dawned on me that Mercedes, with this car the w124 500E, had managed to build something even better than the mighty w126 !
