its german, in germany, on german ebay. yes you guessed right, its the bulging muscular m119 engine in the bare flesh. this guys got w124 parts and engines galore.

Mmmmm...

If only transplanting the 500e engine into a normal W124 was as easy as it sounds!

Seroiusly, how difficult would this be? I guess you'd have to change mostly everything and your better off just buying a 500e! Just to start, diff, transmission, brakes, suspension, engine mounts......................

I reckon that would go into a W124. The exhaust manifolds wont get in the way of the steering box as they exit between cyl's 2 & 3. Size wise it looks quite compact. I would be concerned about brakes, cooling, steering and electrics though. Now if anyone want to get this engine for me I have a W124 just waiting, saloon or Estate

if you look at the sterling equivalent, that motor is actually a bargain i reckon for £711. go on ian ditch the v8 in the 190 and put the m119 instead, makes for a real interesting project.
