This car is awesome. I would take this over a newer AMG. the only thing I would change is the wheels.

Lottery win time I'd go for it or the Brabus 6.5 W124 in last month's Mercedes Enthusiast or even the 5.0 Mechatronik shoehorned into a W111 cabriolet in the May edition, not as much power but drop dead gorgeous

I would garage the wheels and get some w210 e55 wheels with the centers in black.

So you'd take the period correct Brabus wheels off a Brabus car , and replace them with a set of late model AMG's ?

So it turns out its actually based on a 500E and then facelifted! Bit of a shame.
