The Brits (including myself) bale out because of the maintenance & repair cost - and maybe a bit of rust. Every country has its own logic.

Looks decent! Price is high I guess but if stuff has been routinely replaced it could be bang on. I’ve often pondered why we treat cars as disposable when other machines such as planes and boats are just maintained with new engines, gearboxes and running gear replaced over time.

I guess it’s (a) a fashion thing as car design evolves and (b) a safety and technology thing as innovation makes newer cars safer. But it is an interesting one!

I (too) regularly browse the offerings here and 3/4/500,00 kms and more is not unusual, as said, if they're maintained and there's no salt on the roads the only worry is the drivers seat - unless it's MB Tex!
